The band is fully self-contained with state-of-the art sound equipment and an impressive lighting system. CD Background music is provided during breaks and during dinner as required.
After Dark
regularly uses a 2KW PA system, with an additional 1KW of foldback for the stage
sound. For bigger events they are able to hire larger systems, or indeed reduce
the size of their regular PA for intimate venues.
After Dark will provide stage lighting. If the venue
allows, After Dark will use a
harmless water based fogger for smoke effects.
After Dark prides itself on its attention to detail, making use of computer generated samples and 'sequences' to enhance the musical performance. This equipment is delicate and takes time to set up and check properly. For this reason After Dark recommends that the client allows the band at least TWO HOURS to set up and sound check equipment.
After Dark is a six piece band and includes guitars, bass guitars, drums and electronic percussion, three saxophones and four keyboards. For optimum performance, After Dark recommends that it is allowed a stage/ space to set up no smaller than 7m x 3m. Equipment and lighting requires two separate standard 13 amp ring mains. After Dark possess extremely long mains extension leads.
After Dark has comprehensive public liability insurance and all equipment complies with current safety standards.
